Celebrate your fitness journey with your friends, partners, gym mates, neighbors, and family at this community event and family friendly fun competition. A PARTNER style challenge with Male/Male, Female/Female or Male/Female teams all allowed. This is a fun event for individuals of all ages and all abilities! Top 3 teams in each division will win a prize!

There will be 2 workouts completed and 2 different divisions to choose from: For the Fun (lighter weights and doesn’t require a huge fitness experience) and For the Win (no extra fancy skills required, but heavier weights and more competitive). 

 Anyone that is looking for a fun workout(s) and some friendly competition is welcome to join us! We will have two divisions - For the Fun & For the Win to encourage all abilities to participate. Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, family, etc! Anyone 12 and up is welcome to throw down (***Kids under 16 are required to be in the For the Fun division). Teens >16 will use the given ‘female’ weights if they choose to do For the Win division, otherwise they are still allowed sign up for For The Fun division and follow the listed teen weights there. Younger kids (ages 2-11) can participate in the obstacle course race and are encouraged to come cheer on their parents, friends, and siblings in the throwdown.

Throwdown Division Guidelines: (Things you MAY see in the workouts. No surprise movements that are not listed! Note the “mens” weights are listed first, “women’s” and teens (under 16) are listed second. Teens >16 signed up in For The Win will use the listed “women’s” weights).
For the Fun:

  • Up to 400m Run

  • Burpees

  • Step Ups to a 20” box

  • Air Squats or Jump Squats

  • Lunges w/ DBs (20s, 10s)

  • Goblet squats (35# KB, 20# KB)

  • Sit Ups with DB (20#, 10#)

  • 25-50m Bear Crawl

  • Singe Arm or Dual Arm DB Thrusters and/or DB Snatches (20#, 10#)

  • Kettlebell Swings (35#, 20#)

  • Slam Balls (14#, 10#)

  • KB Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (35#, 20#)

  • Wall Ball Chest Pass (14#, 10#)

  • Partner plank claps- able to do on knees

  • Renegade rows- able to do on knees (20#, 10#)

  • Push Ups on Knees

For the Win:

  • Up to 400m Run, Partner running with WB, and back peddling running

  • Burpees

  • Box Jumps to 20” box

  • Air Squats or Jump Squats

  • Lunges w/ DBs (30s, 20s)

  • Goblet squats (53# KB, 35# KB)

  • Sit Ups with DB (30#, 20#)

  • 25-50m Bear Crawl, Partner Wheelbarrow, or Crab Walk

  • Single Arm or Dual Arm DB Thrusters and/or DB Snatches (30#, 20#)

  • Kettlebell Swings (53#, 35#)

  • Slam Balls (20#, 14#)

  • KB Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (53#, 35#)

  • Wall Ball Chest Pass (20#, 14#)

  • Partner plank claps on toes

  • Renegade Rows on toes (30#, 20#)

  • Push Ups on toes

*** Workouts will be released closer to the event date. Keep your eyes peeled in anticipation!

Event will be held rain or shine. In case of severe weather, event may be delayed or postponed. No refunds. Entry may be transferred to another person or used towards a future event.
